When I was little, Santa brought me a half-made sledge with a note in my Dad's handwriting telling me to ask my Dad to finish it because Santa's elves hadn't had time. I stopped believing in Santa after that!
How little is little? 23?
Ha ha! I was 7. Dad made the sledge from solid wood with metal runners and it was so heavy I couldn't lift it.
"...also, you would have got a pony for christmas if you had tidied your room, love Santa."
I did get a pile of horse muck one year. I hunted all through it but I never did find the pony.
