Beverley, it's got nothing to do with lack of bravery. The captions are supposed to remain anonymous until the end of the voting period. If I put my name to the comment everyone will know that the original caption was mine. You'll be able to work out who I am in about a week if you're interested. You may find it useful to visit the faq section. That has lot's of helpful hints on caption writing and submitting etc.

Beverley,I will also point out that when you leave a caption which is very nearly an exact replica or not at a later time, then you should change your caption and think of another.I know it's frustrating to see that it's been done half an hour before you but that's really the way it is on caption.me.The dupe detector may have missed the captions being the same but 9 comments are doing the work of the dupe detector and I think it is very nearly the very same caption,oh aye and if you're a newcomer welcome tae the site from me.
And nearly half of the comments are from you... If you look through all of the captions for this particular picture you will see that we are not the only people who have made reference to "My Family" - in fact the word family crops up in many of the captions left. Having three words match your caption is hardly plagiarism - get over it.
