Sonic Youth are an American rock/punk band who have been around for over 20 years. Sonic is the name of a well known cartoon hedgehog. A child can also be called a youth. Therefore we have Sonic Youth. In response to "really!!" I am sorry if you do not like/understand the caption, clearly some people do/did.
you're right BBD and I wouldn't normally comment, it's just the negative connotations of the term "really". It puts into question the caption and those that voted for it, when really it is just a case of the commenter not understanding the caption. A simple "don't get it" or even "eh?" would have sufficed. Rant over :)
