Of course it's the John Mills film Mr D, that's why I suggested the change from 'cold' to 'cod'! I suggested the 'in Alex' bit because it might make the reference confusing. I always get distracted with that film by how beautiful Sylvia Syms is, and can only remember the plot in the parts where she isn't in the frame. She switches my brain firmly to the 'off' position- 'Desert... something... Sylvia Syms... tank thing... Sylvia Syms...'.
