tactical voting
PLEASE DO NOT TACTICAL VOTE. Everyone at some time has had an urge to tactical vote, but don't do it. Voting on everyone else's negatively will not only make you suspicious but affect the captioneer themselves, making them produce lower-quality captions.
My account cannot logout so I am unable to tactical vote. If the negative vote was scrapped the competition would be fairer, but also more fun.

It is easy to not like it when you can't get away with it yourself. VERY hard to resist doing it when you can. But down voting a really good caption just to be tactical is a crime.

just scrap negative voting. I think we should be able to vote captions 1UP, 2UP or 3UP depending on how good we think thy are.

I don't know anyone...
I can't vote tactically... I can only go on what's funny to me or, in some cases, what I don't personally find funny, but I can appreciate A) The amount of effort put in on a "cleverness scale", and B)If I don't initially find it funny, I appreciate that a lot of people will.
As I say... I don't know anyone, so I can't go on personality... I can, however, be sweet-talked, bribed and complimented... So fill yer boots.

How about a star rating? And, kinda like in ice-skating, the top and bottom marks are removed (i.e. anomalies) and the rest are averaged
