I've always wanted to be able to write good captions, hence navigated my way here. Am a slow learner though - may be here some time... Did once win puffs up chest a caption-writing competition. A DVD player was the prize! Suspect I may have been the only entrant though and deflates chest. The competition was run by a Parrot Society. No, I have no particular interest in parrots. On the day of prize collection I threaded my way through a display of various perches and parrots when disaster struck and I managed to knock one over - complete with distressed parrot! So my moment of captioning glory was somewhat marred by embarrassment and a hasty retreat.
