Wow!! Cheers for the kind comments, everyone, and especially to Paul (the Finder), and to James, John L, and Glad (the generous Super-voters) as well as Vincent for his early praise. So many great captions this past month! I feel sorry to have pip... --Crunchy Chords

I was too slow putting on my Poppins caption but I think yours could stay considering how obvious Poppins is and your caption was great. --Stephen Bean
Pfft.. only shades I could get. Can't be cool, with all these flower-power hippy types. As a seedling, I dreamed of heading a gang of opium poppies. --Mauris Iocus
Thanks for checking Anon1, and to Anon2 for answering. Please keep yours, Anon1. Mine was not a Transformer reference, and my allusion to a dog biting is different enough from your dog sniffing.
I got bored, so I'm sure you'll understand why I escaped from the box ages ago
I figured you wouldn't notice as you were probably trying to prove a point as per usual. Anyway, I've moved on to sunnier climes and I really do hope you don't put another cat in a box due to my departure
Use the word 'gotten' again and I'll have to send the boys round. They're pretty hungry right now and not in the best of moods. The word is 'got'. Your forthcoming apology is accepted in advance.
Crikey Anon, please fact check before sending the boys around. "Gotten" is an acceptable form of the past participle of "get", and it is commonly used in America, Canada, and my home country, New Zealand. Sorry if it doesn't conform to your personal preference, but it is mine, and it isn't incorrect.
Oh crap, missed this. Is it a Transformer reference? I'll scrap mine (20:09:43) if it is.

I think a Boxster is a kind of a Porsche isn't it - not a transformer.

This made me chuckle, as I was going to use this theme but couldn't think how something would have gotten inside an egg
