Hound of the Baskervilles is a very famous Sherlock Holmes Story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
The Baskervilles were the family that were cursed by the appearance of the hound- the hound definitely wasn't a Baskerville. It's a bit like confusing Frankenstein and his monster.
