I had to cover the roof of my bird table with nails like a hedgehog because one of the neighbours cats would sit on the roof waiting for lunch to arrive.
I do hope they're grateful because as I was hammering the nails in, a wasp started buzzing round my head and I wafted it away, forgetting I was holding a hammer. Ouch! It would probably have been less painful to let the damn wasp sting me!
Oh dear. I honestly don't know what's worse: a self-inflicted conk on the head with a metal mallet, or the aggressive itching and swelling caused by the venomous toxins of an angry bee sting? You might just have got off lightly!
Please, go on with the story...Nice caption!

The cat wouldn't have been too happy, I'm sure, but the birds will be forever grateful!
