I've never eaten a Nando - I don't think there's one within thirty miles of here, and I'm not sure what they are (Mexican?). What causes my problems is the chocolates people gave us for Christmas, and the 3/4 full tub of Pringles (for which I have to make a batch of dip), and the surplus brandy butter (for which I have to buy reduced-price mince pies) - because otherwise it would be a waste, wouldn't it? And we try to keep food waste to a minimum in this house...
Nando's is Portuguese. They do some great vegetarian wraps which are probably quite healthy but I'm often tempted to get them with chips and halloumi cheese. I gained about five lbs over Christmas, the result of too many roast potatoes, parsnips in honey, Christmas cake and chocolates. I don't usually bother with the latter and only ate them because they were there.
I can identify with this. The healthy eating regime generally lasts until January 2nd. I can't resist a Nando's!

I'm amazed you've gained five lbs over Christmas. You don't look any different.
