Did the Isle of Man steal its flag design from the Sicilians? That's also an island that has a triskelion on it's flag, okay it's a different colour. Actually it's like any country that has a tricolour flag, didn't the French come up with that? Okay, the tricolore symbolises a republic but surely when it comes to flag designs, you'd think that people would have more imagination, maybe incorporate some nice zigzags or other symbols? I don't know...
Yeah, I know the animal-loving vegetarian military-decorated failed artist you're talking about. Supposedly the popular political group that he was part of also took their salutes from the Romans. No idea about the moustache though.
Supposedly he had a full mo in WW1, but shaved the sides off after his gas mask failed to seal properly. Personally I think it more likely he trimmed it that way to satisfy some sexual fetish.
I wonder if it was because he thought he had a small nose. Maybe the moustache was meant to act as a more prominent shadow for it? Make it more defined as it were. And in regards to sexual fetish, maybe he liked to get his cheeks sunburned because there was nothing in the way to block the sunlight?
And in regards to other symbols, I look forward to the day when England and Scotland reintroduce their native population of lions back into the wild...When did they go extinct?
Surely the football chant should change to a more local creature "Sea lions on a shirt..."

I remember this one fella took an Indian religious symbol and slapped it in a white circle on a red background. It was popular for a few years.
