How come this later version got a vote, when it was second in line to a row of five identical captions all posted in the first 30 seconds? Everyone else has changed theirs due to the unoriginality of the caption- frankly, it seems a bit suspicious to me.
Also look at the "Red Bullfrog" caption (and my comment) voted some time after and earlier version. It's not mine but it seems unfair on the original captioner
It's suspicious because when we've had 5 or so people doing the same caption before, none of them usually get a vote, so the original captioners usually change them to something else. In this case, this caption was the only one that didn't change from 'croaker cola', and got a vote almost as soon as all of the other 'Croaker cola' captions were changed, which was about 12:20. Looks like shenanigans to me.
I would have thought that if 5 people all had the same idea, and 4 withdrew that there must be 4 garunteed votes. If you can't vote for your own idea what can you vote for. Have Great minds and not Petty minds. Congratulations to all 5 Great Captioneers.
I don't know about who submitted what... however, I would say that sometimes I will submit a caption only to realize subsequently that I had probably read a similar one earlier and forgotten I had read it. When I do realize I am guilty of this I will immediately withdraw the caption. Mistakes and duplications happen.
I was one of the four that had Croak a Cola and have now given my vote to you. This has happened a few times to me where I had the original one and I never got the votes from the people that had the same caption but went on to delete it.
My point was that the timing looked suspicious. It was probably coincidence that this caption only got a vote the second that the other 4 were changed- at the time it looked as if the voter and captioner were working together. Apologies if this isn't the case- I suppose the moral of the story is to never change your caption in case it gets a vote later on.

How can it be suspicious? If the captions were identical whoever voted for it would't have known who's caption they were voting for.
