I was 17 when I first saw the black and white 1933 version and I cried my eyes out when they shot him off the Empire State Building. I managed not to cry watching the 2005 version but I was still upset.
Neil, if you've not seen it there's another version from 1976. In the climax, they swap the Empire State for the then Twin Towers.
It does make me wonder could they ever do this for a reptile like Godzilla?
People usually run away from Godzilla in alarm because he/she is not as cuddly, and maybe it's because Godzilla's more of a destroyer (hater) than a protector (lover)?
Kong also causes far less damage in the long run, even though he's the more emotional of the two.
That's why I figure it's about time that Godzilla needs a makeover. Maybe some fuzzy fur to make him/her more adorable, or a cute little hat that's at an angle or turning Godzilla into a less hostile reptile like a gecko or a chameleon. That'll hopefully get more people on board, turning Godzilla into Nodzilla.
I'm sure we can all empathise more if we all understand in a soap opera type of way Godzilla's backstory and why he/she is this totally misunderstood creature and why he/she's being such a diva and smashing up buildings.
That's totally not cool and there must be something obviously hurting inside to make Godzilla do this 😥😂
I'd argue that Kong could have refused the tribal blond lady sacrifice but okay he probably couldn't ignore the drums and the screaming miniature hostage.
It also begs to question, if Kong knows where to come for an appeasement sacrifice, the tribe has obviously made sacrifices to him before.
If this wasn't the first woman that the tribe sacrificed to the Almighty Kong, where are the other women at?
Did they make for a nice appetising snack for Kong or did they get thrown away when they got broke?
Or is Kong so enamoured with the allure of this white blond lady because to him she appears to be exotic? 🤔😂
