@Anon - I am all for the free speech of people to make racist comments. And for the free speech to others to express their dislike of it. For clarification; making a joke for example about cats and Chinese takeaways might not be racist, in my view, because it comments upon behaviour; whereas finding someones race itself the subject of humour is. If you wouldn't call a sambo, nip, chink or wop to their face, then saying it here is ignorant at best.

Daddy, why do people rely on racism for their funny captions?
It's ignorance dear.

At Edinburgh Zoo, keepers were at a loss to explain the darts in all the chimpanzees arses. [Lucky Elperro]
My dad died with Parkinsons, and eating chocolate ice cream was one of the few pleasures that he clung to - right til the end. He insisted on feeding himself, which was messy and time-consuming, and scary as his swallowing reflex was off. But feeding himself was a dignity that he eventually had to let go of. In the rehab, I often fed him, by spoon: Feeding my dad like a baby - (like he had done with me.) When I ate with him at the rehab, the kitchen honored my request to also puree MY food. I'll never forget, following the big stroke, I sat by his hospital bed and he motioned over and over again like he was feeding himself ice cream - but there was nothing there. Dad was gone.

Dear Anon - I am sorry if my caption was in any way hurtful to you. I am myself classed as severely disabled and have experienced mickey taking that has been funny and good for my spirit, but I have also been on the end of real negative stuff. Although I know my own motives are okay, my hands are up and I understand there is an element of bad taste in my caption, no excuses.

Thank you for your sincere, and humble response! I believe that your intention in writing that caption was probably very good: to play, to bring a smile. Thank you for that, and for your kind reply.
NOW, that Mario Brother's image needs some more captions. Let's hit it!
