At least the votes weren't scattered on this one Phil, congratulations!
I'd like to know where Ethel actually scattered the ashes in the end. It's important as I take all pictures on caption.me literally and I need closure! I cannot deal with suspense, or in this case a stiff hanger 😄
Then again, was Ethel doing this because it gave her an excuse to chuck out the hoover as a snazzy funeral casket? It's what George would have wanted...surely? 🤔
I'd like to know where Ethel actually scattered the ashes in the end.? Monyash in the Peak District as it was more reflective of their last few days together!!!
Geez, you go away for a few days to see a Blue Whale and turn 69 (I'm sure that number is apropos of nothing, but who knows), and all of a sudden it's a new month and a new caption winner has been crowned (not a commentary on cause of death). Sorry on being late (as was George).
Well done, Phil (as was George I'm sure, Ethel was never a good cook). This caption certainly didn't suck and it didn't blow (although I'm sure poor George's ashes did). A great caption worthy of so many votes and winner of the month? This fills the bill. Nice one.
Congratulations, Phil! I'm proud to have placed second behind your brilliant caption!
